Louisa Bogaerts

Cognitive scientist

I just started a new postdoc position at the Department of Experimental and Applied Psychology

of Free University Amsterdam.

In a new line of research with Prof. Jan Theeuwes I'm studying when and how environmental regularities can modulate attentional selection.

From 2017 till 2019 I was a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory for Learning and Verbal Information Processing & the Landaulab of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

My project there focused on the relation between language acquisition and the learning of regularities ("statistical learning"). Read more about the project here.

You can find me and my most up-to-date publication list on research gate and google scholar.

I also occasionally write blogposts about cognitive science for Studio Brein (in Dutch).
